Rides this weekend

With the fall weather coming in, I'm thinking that we'll move starts back to 10:00 AM to stay a little warmer.  This weekend the weather looks _okay_'ish, so planning on relatively normal rides starting at 10:

Saturday -- normal 38 Special: 10:00 AM at the railroad tracks on Kelly Canyon Road or 9:30 AM at Owenhouse Cycling.  Race pace ride, with meetups to keep the group together.  

Sunday -- we've had the traditional gravel ride lately -- if you could email me at snbu...@yahoo.com if you have an interest in riding gravel on Sunday, I'm back in town so will help organize Sunday, likely to start around 10 AM.

With the fall weather now making the mornings cooler, we've moved the starts back 10:00 AM to stay a little warmer.  This weekend the weather looks good, so planning on relatively normal rides starting at 10:

Saturday -- I'm not going to be in Bozeman tomorrow, but I'd still suggest a normal 38 Special: 10:00 AM at the railroad tracks on Kelly Canyon Road or 9:30 AM at Owenhouse Cycling.  With that being said, since I'm not going to be in Bozeman, I'd suggest that folks coordinate a little bit as I'm not sure who will be riding.  If someone wants to take the lead, feel free to try to muster up riders!

Sunday -- we've had the traditional gravel ride -- we already have a small quorum planning on starting at 10:00 AM at Dry Creek and Theisen, so come and join us for a nice three-ish hour gravel ride.

With the weather forecast tomorrow, I'd likely say the interest in the regularly scheduled 38 Special ride will be close to zero.  However, if you are going out riding tomorrow, always feel free to see of other folks are interested in going with you.

On Sunday, the weather looks a little drier.  There may be some folks heading out on a gravel ride, time/place still to be determined -- feel free to email me at snbu...@yahoo.com if you have an interest.

Well, the fall weather is still treating us to some good conditions this weekend.

On Saturday, I'm thinking a little later start at 11:00 AM will let things warm up for the 38 Special from the railroad tracks on Kelly Canyon (thus 10:30 at Owenhouse Cycling for those who meet there).  Since it is the fall, I'll take off the normal "race-pace with regroups" description to instead say it will be a "fast-paced ride with time to enjoy the fall weather/colors and still have regroups".

On Sunday, there is a group planning on a gravel ride -- we're still trying to sort out the details, so email me at snbu...@yahoo.com if interested and I'll keep you up to date with the plans.

It looks like it's going to be another great fall weekend in Bozeman!

Saturday -- I'm not going to be in Bozeman on Saturday, but I'd suggest that if people are still interested in getting in a road ride to meet at Owenhouse at 10:30 or the railroad tracks on Kelly at 11:00.  I'd suggest that if people are interested in riding that you reply back here to get it a little bit organized.

Sunday -- there has been a good group of folks coming out to ride gravel each week and I expect it to be similar this weekend.  Email me at snbu...@yahoo.com and I'll keep you in the loop.

Also -- don't forget this weekend that the Bozeman Grand Prix is happening

Howdy all team Rockford Owenhouse members. Please remember that this weekend is the Bozeman Grand Prix. This is our "biggest" event of the year. If you are around, this would be the time to hang out at sunset hills to race, volunteer, and generally support the team and all of our sponsors. Even if Cyclocross is not your gig, pay it forward to the cycling community and support this great event.

And as Paul reminds us: keep the rubber side down.
