Replacing Sub Element ISA16

Hello, 

I am trying to replace the sub element of > to ~ per the customer's mapping specs for the ISA16.

This is what i can generate from Bots:

ISA*00*          *00*          *12*9494203302     *12*4253138601CH   *230310*1228*U*00401*386108000*0*P*>|

This is what the customer wants in the ISA16. 

ISA*00*          *00*          *12*9494203302     *12*4253138601CH   *230310*1228*U*00401*386108000*0*P*~|

I don' t anything that i can use in the syntax parameters. 

Any assistance or point me in the right direction will be greatly appreciated.
