Possible Older, Slower Game

Hello Everyone,
I am thinking of starting a weekly game for older, slower players and other people who need a really casual / low-skill group. I’ve been in contact with Alex about this idea and he thinks it is worthwhile.
I’m thinking the group would be for 50 plus, absolute beginners, and perhaps kids 10-15. I’m not sure whether this is the best criteria. Another way of looking at it is that it would be for people who still want to play but aren’t touching the disc enough in the regular Blueberry Hill game to make it worth their while (that would be me). Any input on this would be appreciated.
I have a tennis friend who is interested and he wants to bring his son who is an adult but not very athletic—but interested in trying Ultimate. I have a pretty big tennis network so I could probably also get a couple of others from that group.
Tuesday evening might work best, although Thursday would also be possible. I had suggested Julius West as a location, but Alex thought Welsh, Woodley, or Rock Terrace would work better.
Finally, there is the question of masks. I had been waiting till it was okay for those fully vaccinated to go maskless but then ask for masks for the unvaccinated. I’m not sure quite where the county stands on this right now. I think the tennis people would be more likely to show up if it’s maskless—we’ve been playing maskless most of the pandemic (of course it’s a much more socially distanced game). Also, masks do give me some breathing problems plus fog up my glasses. So, unless there’s a bunch of interest it might be better to hold off until it’s acceptable to play maskless.
I do miss the old days and the people. This group always epitomized the spirit of the game. Hope everyone is doing well!
