Saving your work & stuck in loop, cant exit screen (unsure if its a bug or not)

Its unclear if my work is ever being saved or not, would be a nice feature to know before I lose all of my work because I had to exit out of the screen since I was stuck in a loop. Here is the javascript code for the loop I used that made it so I couldnt click out of the screen. Only button that would work is the red x in the corner. Dont know if its a bug or not, im only a beginner and feel like there should be a way to get out of a loop without losing your work.

Which Blockly application are you using for this?

Just guessing, is it:
