Sphere on fire

Hi all.  Furst of thank u vey much for creating BlenderFds.  I am new to blenderFds, been using FDS and Cfast for a bit until now.

I tried making a sphere on fire, strangely it seems to work beautifully via blenderFds.  But when i played with local mesh refinement as in old viedo https://youtu.be/Pq5g1KOgQHE?si=hMI1r7Yf5rxZcb0o the model messed up. 

1.  Is there a tutorial for basics cases using blenderFds? 

2.  For my case when i viewed the grid section plane through the sphere, the grid mesh seems to be inside the sphere as well (instead of outside the sphere only).  Is this normal?

Strangely, the flow of smoke and fire seems to be on the contour of the sphere.  Thanks in advance.

Hi, I suggest to first read the FDS user guide and try very simple cases.
