yay!!!! I am sooooo in!. though i will be dragging myself from slumber.

Since we can't be together to have a "BIG 70th birthday blow out" for Roger Mitchell in person...we've come up with some fun ways to let him know we are with him in celebrating 7 awesome decades of life (his big 7-0!!) this Friday, 5/8!!!

To honor Roger and kick off the day with him, we are organizing a VIRTUAL SUNRISE RUN (or WALK/MOVE in any fashion) for 7 miles, 7 kilometers, 7 minutes, 7 nudges forward...whatever works best for you... (honoring 7 awesome decades!!)

The plan:
Roger is planning to start his run around 6:16am-ISH this Friday. We can all get out there and join him for a "virtual sunrise run" (or as Roger says, "sunrise can be anytime before noon"). Roger will know we are running/walking/moving "alongside" him so despite COVID we can all join him in kicking off this special day!!

Set your alarm clock now and then on Friday, PLEASE reply to this thread with a picture or musing from your "7 of something" and we can share in one of Roger's true joys in life... running!!!

I did 7 squats and a few other 7 calisthenics, and yesterday 7 miles in honor of your 70th Birthday!
I bet one good thing about this, is that now you'll be age group winner even more than your usual FastBall you!
Another is that you can enjoy a very pretty cake with a bunch of candles! Enjoy!
