Title – Sr. Automation Engineer- multiple positions
Location: Pleasanton, CA
Duration: 12 months+
Job Responsibilities
• Perform rigorous analyses on large, complex data sets and provide strategic insights, hypotheses, and conclusions based upon findings to non-technical stakeholders
• Will be working with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Will be involved with QA Automation effort in Cucumber and Selenium.
• Will take ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Will work with TestNG/Rest Assured, Springboot framework and NO SQL database
• Proficiency using SoapUI, Postman or similar test harnesses for RESTful web service testing
• Will be working with Jenkins/CI-CD pipeline.
• Interact with business users to understand their reporting needs. Design and Develop reporting requirements.
• Analyse information generated through reports and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
• Work with the end users to identify the test scenarios and prepare test cases for user acceptance testing.
• Perform integration testing between different applications.
• Identify the complex test scenarios based on the understanding of systems, interfaces and application Review the test scenarios.
• Fix the defects identified during various stages of Software Life cycle.
• Ensure availability of application developed.
• Implement Change requests to enhance the software application capabilities.
Given the professional nature of these responsibilities, this job requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Information and Technology or a closely related field.
