Product Owner

Location: San Jose, CA
Contract

 

Skills required: 

• 6+ years of industry work experience
• Excellent Data Analysis skills. Must be comfortable with querying and analyzing large amount of data on Hadoop HDFS using Hive and Spark.
• Analysis of large amounts of historical data, determining suitability for modeling, data clean-up and filtering, pattern identification and variable creation, selection of sampling criteria, generating performance definitions and variables
• Excellent collaborative and influencing skills. Must be able to work with teams of Data Engineers and Analysts and resolve dependencies.
• 3 - 5years of experience in Reporting & Analytics
• Knowledge of Financial Accounting is a bonus
• Great communication skills
• Experience working with Agile Methodology

 

Hands-on skills required( scale of 1 to 10- 1 being beginner and 10 expert):

• SQL – 8 (any data environment) (Data wrangling, Joins and efficient querying)
• Excel – 8 (Lookups
• Word, PowerPoint – 7
• Communications – 8
