Sr ETL Tester – 15 Positions

Locations : Des Moines Iowa , Foster City CA , Hartford CT , Horsham PA , Louisville Kentucky , Marlborough MA , Roseland NJ , Saint Louis MO , San Diego CA  ( Looking for candidates who are open for relocation )

Contract

 

 Job summary:

• Experience in data warehousing and BI testing with strong data analysis, SQL & data analytical skills. Very good understanding in ETL work flows and BI dashboards. Candidate should be very good in client facing, communication  and presentation skills.

Responsibilities:

• Requirement analysis and understanding of DWBI technical specification documents.
• Analyze and understand the ETL work flows developed.
• Validation of data transformations and perform End-to-End data validation for ETL & BI systems
• Perform data analytical testing for the BI systems.
• Should be strong in SQL and write complex SQL queries for validating business rules using Oracle/Teradata/SQL Server/DB2 scripts.
• Understanding of the data model.
• Develop Test strategy, test plan/design , execute test cases and defect management for the ETL & BI systems.
• Good problem solving & debugging.
• Client-facing, Presenting the deliverables with project stake holders.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Data warehousing environment/projects
• Minimum 4 years of experience in ETL & BI testing.
• Strong knowledge on ETL and BI processes.
• Strong in SQL preparation in Oracle/SQL Server/DB2/Teradata RDBMS
• Strong in ETL data validation developed using Informatica /Abinitio /Datastage/SSIS ETL environments.
• Strong in BI report validation developed using Cognos/Business Objects/Microstrategy/SSRS BI.
• Exposure to DB tools : Toad/PL SQL developer/SQL Plus
• Excellent communication, documentation and presentation skills

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to Big Data testing and Automating the ETL & BI  data validation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are must.
• Experience in Onsite / offshore model
