Job Description:
Mandatory Skills:
· 5-8 years of Javascript experience, including concepts like asynchronous programming, closures, types, and ES6
· HTML/CSS experience, including being able to translate Sketch designs into responsive, scalable, pixel-perfect UI
· Experience in ESRI ArcGIS or Map based UI development
· Strong experience in building single page applications using HTML 5, Angular 2.0+, TypeScript, CSS3, SAAS, and third-party JavaScript framework libraries.
· Deep understanding of CSS, having built, modified, or maintained UI frameworks.
· Strong understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks like Angular, Polymer JS.
Preferred Skills:
· Have written and maintain code standards for HTML, CSS or JavaScript.
· Familiarity with CSS precompilers such as SASS or LESS
· Familiarity with architecture designs such as MVC/MVP/MVVM
· Familiarity with module builders like NPM/Webpack
· Have worked in an Agile environment, and are familiar with SCRUM
· Experience with a version control system such as Git, utilizing proper development workflow
· Good to have Polymer experience."
Job Roles/Responsibilities:
· Design and Develop .NET based GIS Web applications that addresses the most challenging business, technology, and systems integration needs
· Work with the Project Lead and client Managers to identify requirements and develop, modify, and maintain a variety of applications. This includes working with GIS Network Management systems.
· Design, develop, and implement custom components, services, and scripts for an enterprise applications
· Integrate newly designed functionality with other currently existing products
· Build Data Migration tools
· Develop applications and integrate with existing applications using a variety of platforms (propriety e.g. ArcGIS, 3-GIS)
· Support the current ArcGIS and Open Source infrastructure by maintaining and developing new capabilities.
· Provide support, troubleshooting, modifications, enhancements and maintenance for existing GIS applications, scripts, tools and web services.
· Create and maintain system related documentation.
