Cisco DevOps Engineer

Raleigh, NC or San Jose, CA

Duration: 12mth+

Contract

 

Location: Prefer local to Raleigh, NC but will consider San Jose

 

Cisco DevOps Engineer will have a detailed understanding of:

·         Expertise in Cisco networking technologies

·         Expertise in Cisco Network Service Orchestration (NSO)

·         Familiarity with AnyConnect VPN solution installation and maintenance

·         Experience with Cisco ASRs, load-balancers, and WLCs

·         Detailed PnP and Python scripting experience

·         Expertise maintaining network configs and remediate network security vulnerabilities

 

Skills

·         Strong communication skill

·         Excellent technical skills

·         Project management support

·         Experience using JIRA

·         Exemplary skills using ServiceNow, Excel

·         Time management skills.

·         Leadership skills

 

Position Requirements

·         7 plus years experience of Cisco network engineering support

·         CCNA or higher certification required

·         Net+, Security+ or similar certification a plus

·         Prior server admin experience a plus

·         Prior work experience at Cisco a major plus

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science a plus.
