Contract

 

Job Description: Mandatory skills (please enter all mandatory skills customer will look for)            

·         Minimum of 1 year of experience with API Connect 2018.x, Experience with v5 API Connect a Plus.

·         Minimum of 3 years of experience with DataPower Gateways

·         Responsible for supporting all API Connect cloud environments (sandbox, pre-prod, performance, production) 24x7x365 with SLA's for P1, P2 incidents.

·         Includes day to day monitoring for resource (memory, cpu) & API activity (latency, error rate, performance).

·         Either raising awareness or working with API central team and infrastructure team on any issues

·         Responsible for applying software upgrades, patches and necessary maintenance work to product under direction of API team.

·         Responsible for configuration and installation (beyond VMWare level) of additional environments or API Connect components (gateways etc.)

·         Performs necessary investigation of issues and troubleshooting before escalating to IBM.

·         Creates and monitors IBM PMR's and attaches necessary information requested by IBM.

·         As part of the team, maintains clear concise and accurate documentation for processes, reports and configurations.  Ensure documentation is kept up to date and in the proper shared, accessible location.

·         Can communicate effectively and work as a team member both within information services and across other groups in support of goals & objectives.

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills.

·         Strong interpersonal skills.

·         Ability to coordinate activities with team members and other stakeholders.

·         Excellent customer service skills

·         Must have a strong work ethic, great time management skills and a positive attitude.

·         Must be able to work independently, on a team, or in a leadership role on a team.

·         Strong ability to multi-task and change priorities with effective results.
