Role- BI Developer with Tableau, Business Objects, and SQL skills

Location – US Remote

Contractors/FTE/CTH profiles

Overall 8+

 

JD-

• Hands on experience in reporting design and development using Tableau
• Design and Develop advanced analytics in Tableau
• Expertise creating custom charts and merge multiple data sources within a dashboard
• Experience connecting Tableau to live and extract data including cloud data
• Experience setting up data security within dashboard and object security at folder or dashboard level
• Experience converting ideas into mockups and presenting it to the stakeholders
• Experience using TABCMD command line utility for any automation
• Implement best industry standard and practices while creating stunning visuals for better user experience
• Thoroughly test dashboards for functionality, data and performance issues.  
• Have better understanding of server components and provide recommendations with respect to server sizing and performance improvements.
• Good understanding of Tableau APIs.
• Hands on experience to write, understand, debugging of SQL code (for Oracle, MSSQL or any other database)
• Good understanding of PL/SQL procedures, functions and other database objects
• Performance tuning expertise at database level for long running sql queries
• Proactively look to develop and implement best practices across the entire project team, practicing continuous process improvement
• Collaborate with the Product Owner, Operations and Technology partners around the world
• Project experience which includes development, project estimation, requirement gathering, issue resolution, configuration, go live assistance and post implementation support
• Responsible for root cause analysis and providing solutions for production and development issues
• Agile development experience with SCRUM
• Must possess strong written and oral communication skills
• Proven ability to collaborate with global teams.
• Strong leadership skills and a willingness to drive change.

 

Knowledge on Business Objects reporting tool would be good to have. The responsibilities here would include -

• Hands on experience in reporting design and development using SAP Business Objects 4.2 for Web Intelligence, Designer (UDT & IDT)
• Hands on experience on BO Admin, CMC, LCM, Schedule, Publication and Profiles Tasks
• Hands on experience to BO Repository, handling servers issues, BO users and content security
• Assist the team in supporting the application in all required environments
• Performance optimization of BO server as per SAP best practices
• Analyse business requirements, needs and objectives and map them to SAP BI
• For supporting Business Objects reports in production and new report development
• Experience in Production BAU, Performance Profiling and Fine Tuning
