Java Backend Developer

Elk Grove, CA

Contract

 

Springboot/ Kubernetes / Containers/ Oracle / SQL

 

Client is looking at least 8+ years of experience.

 

Must have strong experience in Java, and experience of such technologies as Spring Boot and Web Flux and when they should be used. Must have strong experience with a containerized, micro-service architecture and experience in Kubernetes is preferred. The primary datastore will be Oracle, so strong experience in Oracle-compatible SQL is a requirement. Engineer should also have experience with Git.

Engineer will be the go-between between the project owner, and the offshore backend team. Every member of the backend engineering team will develop the backend, but the onshore engineer will balance the workload between the team members, determine how best to delegate the work, be in contact with the offshore team for updates, and be able to communicate the work and statues of the whole frontend team to the project owner.
