Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities Include
· Manage the global enterprise backbone, including traffic engineering, capacity planning, path diversity, and quality of service (QoS)
· Design, document, deploy, and support new global and hybrid enterprise network architectures
· Maintain Design, deploy, and be accountability for the design, deployment, and support new global and hybrid enterprise network architectures, as well as providing related innovative solutions to enable the product deliverables of other agile teams require to meet their own product deliverables
· Automate as much as possible using frameworks, code, and APIs
· Recognize, prioritize, and execute tasks in a dynamic and high-pressure environment
· Instrument performance analysis and develop optimization solutions using dashboards, metrics, and KPIs for others to consume
· Recognize, prioritize, and execute tasks in a dynamic and high-pressure environment
· Automate as much as possible using frameworks, code, and APIs
· Build awareness and self-service of the enterprise network configuration, status, health, and performance for customers to consume
· Define, develop, and own backend services such as monitoring, management, and alerting, for a complex and rapidly expanding enterprise network
· Support a 24x7 global high availability enterprise network that spans across numerous sites, including private and public clouds, by participating in an on-call rotation
· Design, document, deploy, and support new global and hybrid enterprise network architectures
· Create network diagrams, technical specifications, and standard operating procedures
· Define, develop, and own backend services such as monitoring, management, and alerting, for a complex and rapidly expanding enterprise network
· Collaborate within, and across, agile teams to diagnose and remediate challenges
· Design, deploy, and be accountable for innovative solutions agile teams require to meet their own product deliverables
· Instrument performance analysis and develop optimization solutions using dashboards, metrics, and KPIs for others to consume
· Build awareness and self-service of the enterprise network status, health, and performance for customers to consume
· Recognize, prioritize, and execute tasks in a dynamic and high-pressure environment

Requirements
· 5+ years’ operating and managing global enterprise networks
· Experience in a multi-vendor environment
· Advanced knowledge with Network routing, traffic engineering, QoS, telemetry, and segmentation
· Experience writing code using a formal programming language such as Java, Go, or Python to develop synthetic checks, automate deployment and maintenance tasks, etc.
· Experience working with automation/orchestration solutions such as Terraform, Ansible, Itential
· Comfortable working with Linux, REST APIs, SNMP, visualization tools, and time-series data
· Working knowledge with underlay/overlay Physical layer concepts and technologies
· Working knowledge with Peering and transit interconnection relationships
· Advanced knowledge with Cloud technologies and architectures
· Understanding of underlay/overlay networking concepts
· Robust Troubleshooting skills to address complex problems and develop innovative solutions
· Experience with automation frameworks and the creation of workflows to automate network tasks
· Experience using and deploying open source tools
· Experience writing code using a formal programming language in a multi-developer environment
· Comfortable working with Linux, REST APIs, SNMP, visualization tools, and time-series data
· Experience designing and managing scalable hybrid cloud networks
Preferences
· Advanced level certification in a network discipline (CCIE, JNCIE, etc.)
· Development of solutions to remediate problems without human intervention
· Experience with Continuous Integration and source control tools such as Jenkins/Maven, Bamboo, Git, Artifactory, etc.
· Experience in architecting solutions to address industry regulations like NIST, PCI, SOX, GDPR
