Here is the JD for the OR positions:
We need 3 total: Two with "standard" OR experience and one specialist who is up to doing "stochastic control" problems.
For cotton project:
Desired skills for this project will be expertise on “stochastic control”, likely to be found under a EE major or finance major.
For Field Selection:
Desired experience solving resource allocation type of problems
Data Scientist - Operations Research
The mission of this OR position is to work with/under a full-time team member to design and implement OR model in DOC.
Required skills:
Experience in solving scheduling/production planning/revenue optimization/network design problem using operations research techniques and heuristics (+2 years)
For cotton project: Desired skills for this project will be expertise on “stochastic control” or a “agent based simulation”, likely to be found under a EE major or finance major.
For Field Selection: Desired experience solving resource allocation type of problems
CPLEX/Gurobi experience (+2 years)
Java experience (+2 years)
Database knowledge (+2 years)
Knowledge in either Python or R (+2 years)
Preferred skills:
Experience in IBM DOC, experience in constraint programming
Experience in discrete event or agent based simulation
PhD in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Control System, Chemical Engineer, any related area; OR Masters with 2 years of industry experience
