I had to nuke & pave my ’18 mini last week.
Safari bookmarks catalog came back.
But not the Firefox catalog

Quit and tossed the usual 2 caches and restarted.  No change.
Ideas?

Not on the QS side of things, but...

Was iCloud syncing your Safari bookmarks?

Any chance you're using Firefox sync and can sign back in?

Dunno about Safari, I haven't intentionally set-up iCloud in any way.
Firefox was syncing and I am signed in, but no bookmarks are found by QS, even after refresh, quit and restart.
This isn't just a question of QS looking in the right place?

I think I misunderstood -- your original email made it sound like you had lost your firefox bookmarks.

So your ff bookmarks are still in firefox, just not indexed by QS?

I assume you have the firefox plugin installed?

In catalog -> plugins do you see any relevant entries?

Yes.  Screen shot attached.

Interesting -- the lack of a number next to the "bookmarks" checkmark means it isn't finding anything.

Mine seems to be working and shows nearly 5,000 entries. Removing the QS plugin, quitting QS, deleting caches, removing Catalog.plist, restarting QS, then re-adding the firefox plugin and it  re-populates them as expected.

Can you make a issue at GitHub for this? Will be much easier to organize discussion and help others find the issue.

decided that Firefox had to be at fault, either my install, or install sequence, or the cat ate my homework or other quantum surge in the universe.
I deleted FFx and the QS plug, keeping the FFx Profile folder, jic.
Reinstalled FFx then the QS plug.
All bookmarks are found.
Now the toilet is flushing ccw.

Awesome, thanks for the update. Would you mind updating and closing the GitHub issue?
