I am an avid Quicksilver user, and have at least 50 triggers programmed into the app.  My question is will all these triggers/settings transfer over to a new laptop that I will be buying soon ?

Any help appreciated !

I think there are several files in ~/Library/Application Support/Quicksilver that you’ll be interested in transferring over, specifically ~/Library/Application Support/Quicksilver/Triggers.plist.

You’ll likely need to apply a few fixes to things (missing catalog items, etc.) but that should be a good start, I’ve moved my Quicksilver setup between several computers.

Thanks Nate ! I would assume that those app support files would cleanly transfer with a full Machine migration, right ?

I would expect so, I think the migration assistant should take care of that. (But I'd make sure you have a backup anyway.)

Really appreciate the quick reply and info....I just adore Quicksilver.  I can't imagine daily Mac use without it (And I donate to the developers)

Thanks kindly, and glad you're still enjoying it.

I installed Ventura this morning and QS seems to be running fine -- hope you enjoy your new machine.
