So got the keyboard update 2 days back, and I think it's the beta version. And writing this mail because it's a significant update ( by BlackBerry's standards not by market's though)
The positive changes are -
 1)The prediction has improved
2) emoji suggestions works, like typing corn shows corn emoji , typing like shows thumbs up emoji.

The bug of beta version is - all the learned words from your usage will be wiped so have to re save all the words again to your personal dictionary. Hopefully this bug would be rectified.

The emoji keyboard however is still a pain to use though.

I think the pain will be worthwhile

Take a break. I don't think any other service provider is giving two hoots about their users. Relax.

Atleast they are giving what they promised. And keeping up with the latest developments.
In the flagship phone there's
- No OIS
- No waterproofing
- 64 GB is the maximum storage
- Android Oreo

Bhai bina dekhe khareeda tha kya.
🙄

You bought it for Keyboard, distinguished looks and feel, security and ease of using mails.
There is a fine tradeoff in buying most tech products.

No chinese phones .... I am really digging the Huawei ( or something) latest launches. Like p30 but it's a Chinese brand ..... So, I just see it's features and that's it.

IMO (strictly - in my opinion), these days there’s not much difference in the email experience on all the available platforms / devices.

There used to be a time when BBOS and BB10 email experience was the best, but lately my phone purchase decision can’t be based on emailing experience, especially BlackBerry Android phones.

Also, having given up on physical keyboards for so long, my fingers start hurting after extensive typing on the physical KB. For me (strictly - for me), typing on glass KB is the winner.

Distinguished looks - yes of course, but IMO (strictly - IMO :D ) it calls for way too many compromises just for the distinguished looks :))

Well, security of course we not think when it’s BB.

I wrote there are tradeoffs. Me being a doctor, know being a doctor itself is a massive tradeoff these days.

Try oneplus 6T ;)

It's with oxygen OS (Android), lots of cool inbuilt features.. Great performance.

If you avoid phones just because of China, you should start avoiding other Chinese items too (which we don't even know) :)

Sir, I know it's hard to avoid China made products, but I try to avoid products based in China mainly.
And today after I checked my phones monthly update and it still showed December patch as latest, I started looking at latest nokia phones, just to see what all are there, and then one thing led to another, and I started wondering why did I like Android more -
1. Open source ( to put it properly ability to install cracked apps, which I don't do anymore)
2. OTG
3. Bluetooth transfer ( I don't remember when I did that last)
4. Ease of access of settings ( slowly , very slowly iOS is catching up to Android).

And then I thought something which I hadn't thought that I'll be thinking 😁😁 when my KEY2 dies and BlackBerry continues with their obnoxious behavior and I had to shift to glass typing, maybe I might switch to iOS if by then iPhone comes with USB C rather than lightning. 😑😑😑
