Monetary Support for a Poor Brahmin Girl's Marriage

Greetings!

This has been posted to a group of music enthusiasts and a friend shared to me.

Summary: A brahmin family solely dependant on music classes need support for the marriage of their elder daughter, slated for 7th March.

Earlier we, through BosF, supported the sister of the bride, Neti Durga Bhavani, for her Dialysis. In that context, this case is verified then. I haven't verified this time other than talking to Bhavani.

Currently, we, group of interested donors, are doing the fund raising to our account so that we can purchase any useful item and give. You are free to send directly as well.

ఇది ఒక యదార్థ సంఘటన 🙏🏻

 కనులతో కాక మనసుతో చదువుతారని ఆశిస్తున్నాను.

 పుష్య బహుళ పంచమి.. శ్రీ త్యాగరాజ స్వామి ఆరాధన మహోత్సవం.. సంగీతాన్ని నమ్ముకున్న ఒక కుటుంబం.. శోకసముద్రంలో మునిగి ఉన్నది.

 వివరాల్లోకి వెళితే

 హైదరాబాద్ కొత్తపేటలో, నేతి వెంకటరమణ శర్మ గారు (57 సంవత్సరాలు ), వీరి శ్రీమతి నేతి లీలా శర్మ గారు, ఇద్దరు కుమార్తెలు.. అందరూ కూడా సంగీతాన్ని ఆధారంగా చేసుకొని ఇంటి దగ్గర ఉన్న వాళ్ళకి సంగీతం నేర్పుతూ జీవనాన్ని వెళ్ళతీస్తున్నారు. పెద్దమ్మాయి చిరంజీవి నేతి కామాక్షికి వివాహం కుదిరింది, మార్చి నెలలో పెళ్లి పెట్టుకున్నారు, నెల్లూరులో అన్నగారి ఇంటి వద్ద ఉంటున్న తల్లిని కలిసి ఈ శుభవార్తని తన తల్లికి చెబుదామని చెప్పి, ఆ దంపతులు నెల్లూరు వెళ్లారు. విధి చాలా బలీయమైనది. మనుమరాలి పెళ్లి శుభవార్త తల్లికి చెప్పి, తల్లి వొడిలో తల పెట్టుకొని, డబ్బులు ఎలా సమకూర్చుకోవాలి అమ్మా, పెళ్లి ఎలా చెయ్యాలి అమ్మా అంటూ 87 సంవత్సరాల తల్లితో మాట్లాడుతున్న సమయంలో.. నేతి వెంకటరమణ శర్మ గారు హఠాత్తుగా కుప్పకూలిపోయారు. లీలా శర్మ గారికి ఏం చేయాలో తెలియలేదు, ఇద్దరు ఆడపిల్లలు హైదరాబాదులో ఉన్నారు.. బంధువుల సహాయ సహకారాలతో అంత్యక్రియలు పూర్తిచేసుకుని, హైదరాబాదు తిరుగు ప్రయాణమయ్యారు. సంగీతాన్ని నమ్ముకొని. ఉన్నదాంట్లో జీవనం చేస్తున్న. ఆ పెద్దాయన రమణ శర్మ గారు కూడ పెట్టింది, దాచిపెట్టింది ఏమీ లేదు. నలుగురు కుటుంబసభ్యులు, తిండి కి బోటా బోటి గా సరిపోఏ సంపాదన. రిక్త హస్తాలతో కామాక్షి పెళ్లి ఎలా చేయాలి అని లీలా శర్మ గారు మదన పడుతున్న సమయంలో.. త్యాగరాజ స్వామి వారిని తలుచుకొని తన కుమార్తె కామాక్షి వివాహానికి మనందరి సహాయాన్ని అర్థిస్తున్నారు. కామాక్షి పెళ్లికి మనందరం కూడా సహాయ సహకారాలు అందిద్దాం. లీలా శర్మ గారికి తోడుగా అయోధ్య రామయ్య మనల్ని పంపారు అన్నట్టుగా అండగా నిలబడి, కామాక్షి పెళ్లిని దిగ్విజయంగా పూర్తి చేద్దామని చెప్పి సంకల్పం కలిగింది. వధాన్యులు దాతలు అయిన మీ అందరూ, మీ మీ బంధుమిత్రులకి స్నేహితులకు ఈ మెసేజ్ ని పంపి ఆ కామాక్షి పెళ్లికి అందరమూ మనకు తోచిన సహాయం చేద్దాం 🙏🏻

Durga Bhavani called me when I shared the previous post with her regarding our support.

She said the surgery failed, which we supported. Later she got it done at another hospital with the help of donors.

In 2021, she got kidney transplantation in KIMS for about 25 Lakhs and those doctors only paid the fee it seems and for medication again she got help from her students and relatives. She is still taking medicines.

Recently her mother also had health issues and they had to spend about four lakhs. Her income is about 20k per month.

The bride, Kamakshi, is her uncle's daughter. Durga Bhavani's father adopted Kamakshi as her parents died. She is her father's brother's daughter. She discontinued graduation, it seems. The groom, a pujari's son, lives and works in Hyd.

Durga Bhavani is also trying to help others in anyway she can. She got a laptop for an orphan girl and one of her student's family is now taking care of the girl's education.

Coming to support from groups, she said there were many ppl who visited them, taken videos but never offered any help, when she was undergoing health problems.

Told her that we are raising fund and we will purchase any item. She said currently they need help for necklace/Mangal Sutra. Hopefully we can raise the required fund.

Update: The date of marriage of the poor brahmin girl is changed to 3rd March. Marriage is planned at Annavaram.
