Biotapestry not running on windows 10

Hi

I am getting the following error while running biotapestry version 7.1.1 on windows 10:

"There was an error launching the biotapestry editor using java.

The system cannot find the file specified."

Please help me fix this error.

Version 7.1.1 of BioTapestry requires that you have installed Java separately. Have you done that? If so, is it the 32- or the 64-bit version? Note that in the next week or two I expect to release 7.1.2, which will have a bundled Java.

Yes, I did install 64 bit java separately from the link provided on the biotapestry.org website but still I am getting the same error. However, the BioTapestry Online Using Java Web Start version is working on my PC and I am using that for now.

Glad you could get something working. The WebStart version is actually
about to be retired. I have just created a new release (V. 7.1.2) that
has a bundled Java runtime. They are not yet on the project website, but
are available from GitHub as a download:

https://github.com/BioTapestry/Production/releases

If you could give the Windows version a try and let me know if that
works for you and solves your problem, that would be helpful.
