It depends how granular a coverage you need.
I am aware of several resources dealing with separation methods
CHMO (https://www.ebi.ac.uk/ols/ontologies/chmo) by Colin
Batchelor provides some coverage

And you may find the the allotrope foundation ontology (https://www.ebi.ac.uk/ols/ontologies/afo) relevant too:
