entity recognition while typing?

Dear all,

Does anyone know/have a macro/script/tool/... that could support users on the recognition of terms (controlled vocabulary coming from an ontology stored in any type of store) while they are typing in (live) a Word document? Excel file? or similar?

It may not be exactly what you want, but for your reference, PubDictionaries has an API for auto-completion and also for term-annotation, which was recently utilized to implement an interface for controlled language input: https://biohackrxiv.org/gzfa8/
