Hi, everyoene, my name is Rodolfo, and I am reaching out to seek clarification regarding a specific aspect of the allowed processes in DIVALIKE.

I obtained a result using DIVALIKE without the "J" parameter, where a jump dispersal event appears to occur (e.g., CAR → CAR), as shown in the attached file. Could this be interpreted as a jump dispersal in the context of DIVALIKE without the inclusion of the "J" parameter?

I would greatly appreciate your guidance on this matter.

Rodolfo

Hi- I'm not sure I see it on the tree?  Is CAR a 3-area range, or a single area named "CAR"?  Either way, CAR->CAR wouldn't be a dispersal event?
Cheers,
Nick
