New User. Is there a Greenlight plugin for WordPress? And other questions

Hello! I just installed BBB on a subdomain on my WordPress site. I created a classroom, and I'm not sure how to get my students to it. My plan was to have a link like the greenlight demo, and then post the link inside Learndash (LMS) with each lesson. But I didn't find a greenlight plugin, so I don't know how to make my front end look like the tutorial. Does that make sense or should I be doing something else?

Hi Sacil,

With Greenlight, you can create permanent URLs to each of your room, so I would expect that you could take that URL and make it available to your students within the Learn Dash interface.

I'm personally not very familiar with the Learn Dash interface.  I would recommend you reach out to the Learn Dash team and ask them that question.

How do I add the Greenlight interface on my website? All I have access to is the demo. I don't see a way to add it to WordPress to use it with BBB.

This isn't possible as they are two different stand alone web applications.  There is no "greenlight plugin" for WordPress or WordPressLMS.

However, Greenlight does give you a permanent URL for each room you create, see


I'm not familiar with WordPressLMS, but I presume you can edit content in a course and add external links.  You can add the link to a Greenlight room to a page in the course and invite students to click to join the room and view the recordings.

If you are using our demo server at https://demo.bigbluebutton.org/, then yes -- all the links will say 'demo'.  

If you want to setup your own BigBlueButton server + Greenlight, see
