BBB won't work behing nginx proxy manager (NPM)

Hi all!

I tried installing BBB using the manual at https://docs.bigbluebutton.org/administration/install/ (v 2.6)  but I can't make it work. I have reinstalled it around 5 or 6 times by now. 

I have an Nginx Proxy Manager pointing to BBB, but, anyway, I can't access BBB after installation (I get a white screen that only says "Welcome to BigBlueButton!").

All the documentation I found regarding BBB + Reverse proxy is very old (V 2.2 and before). 

Would anyone have a more updated installation manual or fix for that?

Hi,

if the "only" thing you get is "Welcome to BigBlueButton" then your server is fine.
BBB is a backend. You need a frontend to access all BBB features.

I suggest you start with Greenlight. Install it and create your first meeting through GL.

just open up 80 and 443 straight ( without npm during the setup to get the letsencryp things appear ) after that disable straight forwarding of 80 and 443 and enable for it and handle the letsencrypt via npm after
