Live Captions not working in BigBlueButton 2.6

Live Captions  in BigBlueButton 2.6 is not working. Please help to resolve the this.

You have to enable the Live Captions in BigBlueButton 2.6, see

I just tried this by adding the two lines to bbb-html5.yml on BBB 2.6.5.

Shows no effect here, no drop-down is shown when joining audio.

Anything else to observe?

Hi Fred, 

I have tried the same, after that I have  restarted "bbb-conf --restart" then not able to start meeting.  showing error 505 when I start meeting.

Its working for me on chrome 2.6.5

if your getting a weird error on start of meeting, i bet your setting.yml is malformed.

I see in the docs ?

public:
app:
...
audioCaptions:
enabled: true

dont add the ... :) that may be the issue.

We also have this problem, both the live captions and the writings on the display board when rendering the video, and other problems such as the image leaving the frame in the rendered video, etc.

I suggest that if you are using previous versions, do not upgrade to 2.6.10 because it has many bugs that cause dissatisfaction.

We just released 2.6.11 and recommend you upgrade.

There is an error in your settings.yml.  Try reverting the change, then adding back the change and see if you get the error again.  If so, look at the formatting of your YAML file.
