BBB - UI/UX Customization

Hey there,

I am currently working on Customizing the User Interface/ Experience of BBB platform. Could you please let me know if I can do the below changes. Also appreciate if you can guide me on the process of doing the changes.

- Break out Rooms (Bring this option to the main screen)
- All features inside of the Plus Icon to be added somewhere out
- Polling Results to be displayed in a proper way
- Updated Emojis for Setting Status moreover,
                 - Setting Status Button to be taken out to the main page (Skype like)
                 - Set statuses to be displayed in the main page until acknowledged
- Lock Viewers to be displayed outside in a suitable place
- Mute all users / mute users except the presenter 
                - Toggled and Untoggled users list
                 - To be displayed outside of the settings icon inside of the white area
                 - Rollover muting option when hovered over the user
- Settings button to be outside of the 3 dots-options icon
                 - Settings to be displayed as a pop-up window and background blurred
- Use any modern day sleek looking icons from any icon packs.

you're not going to get your personal how-to on doing your changes.

most of the changes would require you to patch/build your own version of bbb anyway.

read the docs and faq on what you can do

Hi Samuel,

Is it possible to include a File Sharing (Documents, Images, Short videos) option in Public chat to the product? This will be a Backend customisation as well indeed.

These (and many other features listed in the issue tracker) are possible, but they all require development.  The core developers are pretty focused on finishing BigBlueButton 2.3 at the moment.

At the moment, sharing files in the public chat isn't on our road map for the coming versions, but you are (more than) welcome to develop such a feature for your users.
