Hello,

I installed the BBB v3 on fresh physical machine, with 12CPU and 128G RAM at Hetzner, using the below script.

wget -qO- https://raw.githubusercontent.com/bigbluebutton/bbb-install/v3.0.x-release/bbb-install.sh | bash -s -- -w -v jammy-300 -s server.domain.com -g

But after the installation script completes I got the below message.

# Potential problems described below
................................................................................
# Error: Could not connect to the configured hostname/IP address
#
#    http://server.domain.com/
#
# If your BigBlueButton server is behind a firewall, see FAQ.

I tried 3 times and the result is same.

Hello,

Any idea on this issue, as I have tried 3 times on fresh install machine with the same failure result.

Is there issue with the script or repos not updated at Hetzner ?

Thanks

Hi,

since you mention Hetzner, there's an "extra" firewall you have to configure. You have to go to your account and look for this firewall. It's not the one included in Ubuntu.

Regards,
J.

Hello,
hope you are good!
did you do something different on installation? or just reinstall 4 times with the same process?
kr,
Moh
