Hi :)
I'm trying to install an instance of BigBlueButton 2.3 on a virtual machine ( 16 GB of memory,8 CPU ,  and 80G of disk space)

Is it possible to test the application locally with private IP address and without domain name.?

Thanks.

webRTC won't work without TLS and for that you need at least a hostname to use

but yes you don't need a publicly resolcable hostname as long as your certificate is correct

Thank you for this quick response,

but what should I put in place of server and mail link

wget -qO- https://ubuntu.bigbluebutton.org/bbb-install.sh | bash -s -- -w -a -v bionic-23 -s  bbb.example.com -e not...@example.com -a -w

Thanks.

obviously you can't use let's encrypt for certificates if it's not publicly reachable ...
