Error: Could not detect FreeSWITCH listening on port 5060

hello fred dixon, 
I have upgrade bbb rc7 to rc8 , i have used this server after upgraded it to rc8 ,after upgradation everything were working ,  but today when i trying to join the 
audio , it shows below given error .

Error 1006: Call timed out
Error: An error has occurred, please try again

and when i perform  bbb-conf --check  , 
it show "The voice application may not have registered with the sip server." and  "Could not detect FreeSWITCH listening on port 5060"

also when i check log then it shows

Hi Nexio,

Check the FreeSWITCH logs for an error, and also this entry in the Troubleshooting guide


Also, did you originally setup a dummy NIC to enable FreeSWITCH to bind to an external IP address?  You also need to set the dummy NIC to be re-assigned after reboot (otherwise it won't be present after reboot and FreeSWITCH will be unable to listen to the external IP address).  See



Try the above and let us know if that gets you going again.

 After removing freeswitch database and restart freeswitch , now it working fine.

This helped me solved my issue, after switching BBB VMs in Amazon (and changing external & internal IP)
