We are pleased to announce BigBlueButton 3.0.21!

This iteration of BigBlueButton 3.0 contains a couple of security fixes, and some client and core improvements.

We recommend administrators to update at earliest opportunity!

Will it be valid just run "apt update && apt upgrade"? I did it before and it seems worked fine.
Could you suggest the best way of updating bbb server. Will appreciate any explanations.

Hi Victor,

even though it might have worked for you in the past, this is not recommended.
As you can see in these lines in the install script, apt-get update and apt-get dist-upgrade arerun at least once during the installation process.
In my experience I have done apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade all the time, but there cannot be any BBB packages wanting an update (bbb-*). If you see any bbb-* packages wanting an update/upgrade you should run the bbb-install.sh script or else you're gonna have a bad time.
