How did I enable mp4 and download video?

Hello
What steps should I take to enable video recording only in mp4 mode?
I disabled html mode in the settings and only the mp4 extension is active.
What steps should I take to enable these videos to be downloaded?
We are using version 2.7.15 and Greenlight is not installed.

There is no mp4 mode for recording.  During the session, BigBlueButton is capturing the events, audio, and videos (webcams and screen share), during the session in a "raw" format.  The actual recording formats are determined in the recording processing phase.  See

When viewing a recording in the browser, users can download the .mp4 playback by right-clicking on the video and selecting "Save video as ..." from the pop-up menu.

I followed all the steps.
My Big Blue Button version is 2.7.15
But I can't save the video or upload it with mp4 extension.
Note: I rebuilt an old video, is that the problem?

That's no problem.  Do you see a 'video' recording format?

You should be able to save the video using the steps given in my previous message.  Note: there are two playback formats: presentation and video.  Use the video playback format if you want to right-click and save the video.

Also, you can't upload videos to BigBlueButton.  BigBlueButton creates video recordings based on the content shared in the sessions.

The mp4 extension is only in /video which is the webcam and is not visible.
I can't right click and save the video either.

The videos were only published in the previous state

We made a lot of changes.
We also used chatgpt in this plugin, but unfortunately its information was very insufficient.

We had to reinstall the server because it was impossible to restore the default settings due to the changes.

Why is there no sufficient documentation from Big Blue Button on this issue?

If there is documentation, please advise. What are the steps to enable the mp4 extension in Big Blue Button?

If there is a need for a script and conversion to mp4, please indicate it. We need to allow users to download the published videos.

have you read this part from the BBB docs?

BBB has plenty of documentation as well as issues solved by the community, either here or on github.

If you're not using GL, which frontend are you using?

If you provide more info the community will be better suited to help you further.

Yes, I read the selected URL you sent.
But the problem was that even though mp4 was enabled, my only output was not mp4.
I need the processed videos to be downloadable or I need to be able to call the mp4 video using the API so that the user can download them.
I am not using Greenlight and the platform used is Big Blue Button version 2.7.15
