Making Own Webcam Smaller in Layout

I know there isn't a feature to overlay own webcam in the corner on top of the student's webcam on a one on one....

But is there a file that can be edited to make everyone's own webcam smaller so that the other person's/people's webcam video becomes bigger? That way the focus is on the other person/people.

Not at the moment -- you have the ability when there are 3 (or more) webcams active you can make one of them larger.  

For 2.8, we're also putting in a feature that lets you disable the self-view of your webcam, so your not focusing on yourself but others.

That's great to hear that there is a plan to disable self-view. I saw 2.7 has the deactivate feature for self-view, but it still takes up space on the screen, so disabling it completely would be a step in the right direction.

Fred, I really support this request to minimize or hide the self view. Currently, the screen occupation remains the same, whether it's disabled or not. I use one of my BBB instances to train martial arts with people across the Atlantic. The issue affects the instructor who cannot (in opposite to the students in remote locations) maxize one video feed. At the same time, for really seeing details of movements and techniques, the remote videos should be as large as possible. Currently, the own video window takes up the same space as everyone else feed (in a three participiant setup) and I would be more than happy if that could get minimized or hidden.

Thanks again for the outstanding work you guys are doing, BBB is a marvelous piece of software.
