Scalelite deployment

Hey guys, i'm trying to deploy scalelite and have some questions?

How can i scale scalelite? Can i just multiple container across host? Can i deploy scalelite on k8s? Can i deploy scalelite the same host as bbb server?

Hi Hai,

A powerful ScaleLite server, running on its own server (not the BigBlueButton server), will scale to a pretty large deployment.  How large do you need to support?

Hey Fred,

I already have 3 very big physical server so i’m planning to install bbb on them, would be great if i can utilize that for scalelite.

I’m also have a k8s cluster and would be great if i can run scalelite on it

In terms of user, we try to serve around 3000 CCU with each meeting only have a few dozen of people

Based on your answer you saying i need to have a seperate server for scalelite? But i need scalelite to be HA ( in case when it went down) 

Is there any work around for this? Really hope i can run scalelite in the same server as bbb, or try the k8s route

What version of BigBlueButton are you planning to run?

Sounds like a good sized deployment!  Is it an option for you to contract for the expertise of companies that have built BigBlueButton for commercial use?  See
