BBB2.5.9 taking more 24 to create recording

Hi Team, 

I have configured BBB2.5.9 but its taking more than 24hours create recording and not getting any error. 

Is there any to error or way to fast the publish recording.

If you get the recording, there should not be any errors.

 

Why is taking a long time to get is based on a number of factors, and you need to provide more details.

 

How many cores,  what type of cpu processor?

How many meetings a day are you doing, how many recordings a day.

How many cameras are in each meeting.

      Sombody posted a few weeks ago that they had 100 cameras in the meeting. Was that you?

What is the average length of meeting.

 

It’s not uncommon for a server with lots of meetings and recordings to not be able to process them in a timely manner.

 

You can add more bbb servers to reduce the workload,  or  setup a separate recording pipeline that can handle the volume of recordings and quickly publish them.

 

Provide more details.

Hi sir, 

Below are the details. 

CPU = 8*4cores

Cores = 32

Number of Meeting  = 120/day

Number Recording = 120/day

Camera around = 4/meeting

Length of Meeting = 1hours 

Below is the current status of the above mentioned things. 

Sat 14 Jan 2023 11:23:26 AM UTC,    Number of meeting 1,Number of user in Meeting 2, Cpu utilization 56

@stephen sir,  In BBB2.4 it takes a maximum 2-4 hours to create a meeting.

Look in presentation.xml  and make sure you have just

 

-mp4  format, and comment out the -webm

 

See if this speeds it up.
