BBB 2.2 error 1002 & 1020

Hello, 

I installed BBB depends on these instructions here, after finishing the installation joined the meeting and tried to use microphone and cam but i got these 2 errors below

Microphone error:

These errors are usually when BigBlueButton is running behind a firewall and the browser is not able to make a UDP connection to the server.  See


Is there a firewall between your users and your BigBlueButton server?

Hello Fred,

I checked the firewall all is fine all ports are open and correct ports numbers,

i fixed the voice audio error 1002 by editing the configurations for NAT and NIC, but still got this error once open the Web Camera "Error 1020: media could not reach the server”"

any advice about this error?

Hi Mufleh,

Did you install BigBlueButton using the step-by-step instructions or with bbb-install.sh?

Can you try restarting BigBlueButton and see if your able to share a webcam.  Can you share a webcam on https://demo.bigbluebutton.org/ and let us know if it works there.

hi Fred,

i installed bbb with bbb-install.sh, i tested the web camera on https://demo.bigbluebutton.org/ it is working fine without errors 

i did the restart for the bbb many times and checked bbb-conf --status, below the output all are fine, any more suggestions?
