Good Day,

I have t3a.xlarge instance on AWS for bigbluebutton, but i need too making it highly available, i recently encountered a few issues where screensharing is not working and echo test wouldn't allow another to join the virtual class thru moodle.

i was looking at a solution to deploy and another instance and do round-robin and load balancing with a fqdn ,but the intergration with moodle and the secret is the tricky part

can you please advise on how to setup the high availability for BBB and configuration for moodle.

Check Scalelite - https://github.com/blindsidenetworks/scalelite

Summary: Scalelite is an open source load balancer that manages a pool of BigBlueButton servers. It makes the pool of servers appear as a (very scalable) BigBlueButton. A front-end, such as Moodle or Greenlight, sends standard BigBlueButton API requests to the Scalelite server which, in turn, distributes those request to the least loaded BigBlueButton server in the pool.

> t3a.xlarge

We would also recommend using the c5.2xlarge instances as they are dedicated compute intensive, whereas the the t3a.xlarge are burst CPU and not guaranteed to give consistent CPU performance.
