How to Auto start WebCam ?

Hi, how to start web cam turn on for the attendee from the beginning of the session.

Without any button click from the other end ! I just exactly want to do it like recording the session from the beginning like autostartrecord.

Hi,

You have to edit "autoWebcam: true" and "skipPreview:true (Not sure the parameter name)" in the setting.yml file locate at /usr/share/meteor/bundle/programs/server/assets/app/config/settings.yml

Hi, thanks for that upadate... it is working..

But i have two doubts.. what actually the "SkipvideoPreview" does ?

One more thing..how to disable the stop sharing WebCam button for the attenders and i need to auto start webcam only for the Attenders not moderators!

You do realise that you can’t switch between front and rear camera if you remove webcam preview. Just a cautionary note. This will come in handy on phones.

Hi, in my usecase... attenders are allowed only to attend in systems... i need to remove or disable the option of web cam off... or toggle it in middle of the session. As i have used to auto start of web cam now...
