The Department of Philosophy at the University at Buffalo (UB), State University of New York, is seeking a faculty colleague at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor (tenure-track) in the field of Applied Ontology. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to UB’s Applied Ontology focus within the PhD Program in Philosophy. Teaching will include philosophy courses at the undergraduate, Masters, and PhD levels. The course load will be two courses per semester (2/2), plus usual advising roles. Normal departmental, university, and discipline-related service duties will be expected of successful candidates.
Area of Specialization: Any area directly connected to Applied Ontology, including, but not limited to, Metaphysics or Applied Ontology or Formal Logic. Areas of Competence: Any areas connected to Area of Specialization.
