We can talk till we're blue in the face to the so-called "representatives"

But all they actually care about is their office and their patronage jobs and their future. 

If we don't threaten them with replacement. With competition etc. They will just yes us to death.

I think prospect heights would be shocked to hear that they're going to get a 100% to 1000% property tax increase thanks to our wonderful commissions work.  And are ruling political party. 

That is if we don't do anything. 

This will affect everyone owners and renters alike. 

There's so many special cases in the larger market with 421A that it's hard to generalize but class 1 property which is small property will be socked.

How about this? 

Property tax in Central and North Brooklyn will go up 100% to 1,000% for one to three family homes if these current property tax proposals are passed. This will affect homeowners and renters. There are planned exemptions for owner-occupied homes.  But that is up for debate.
