I’m not gonna sugar-coat it: the weather for tomorrow looks…….pretty darn bad.  I think that the chances of a game are low, but remain optimistic that the forecast may change.  I will post a definitive call NLT 9 AM on Sunday.

There has been talk of an afternoon game if the morning game is cancelled.  Dave will coordinate

Folks

I’m going to Petworth for 9 AM today. The forecast for 10 AM is pretty dire, and I think that we shouldn’t play at westbard.  I won’t cancel the game outright just in case others really want to play in mud during a downpour.

For Westbard, park at Westland middle school. The field is northeast of the school.

I agree re the 10 am conditions.  In the forecast I’m using (Apple) it looks like there’s a decent window starting around noon, right after heavy rain ends.  But wait too long after that and wind will strengthen to >20 mph base, 45 mph gusts. However, I expect even the Westbard sandbox will be a soggy mess.

Maybe a non-cleats game at noon, for the turf’s sake?  Others up for that?

Just to close the loop, I got no nibbles for a Sunday noon game.
