Hope this is not too far off topic.  But I thought there may be some interest from Linux folks.  

Noon to 3 at Berkeley Library South branch.  People bring things in to repair.  From broken appliances to furniture to bikes to clothes mending, and more.  Fixit coaches are on hand to guide you in fixing your own stuff.  

Anyways I'll be there.  

And Pi August this Sunday the 4th at Blue Door Cafe noon to 3.
