Hey all,
Timely reminder here of the first Berkeley Linux User Group meetup of the month and of the new year 2025.
Both the virtual and the in-person physical meetups start at 11:00am PST this Sunday, January 12th go to 2:00pm or however late people want to participate.

Given the 'Accessibility (at) Sodoi' concerns Michael expressed in his last message to the group, am myself rather planning to attend the in-person physical meetup at Caffe Strada.
There are no rain or strong wind gusts currently predicted in the local Berkeley weather forecasts for this upcoming Sunday, and it may even be unseasonably warm for this time of year.

Caffe Strada's address is 2300 College Ave Berkeley, CA 94704 and it is located at the Southwest corner of College and Bancroft across the street from the main Cal campus (see its OpenStreetMap.org geolocation map at https://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=19/37.8691/-122.25484 )

Am heading out to Caffe Strada soon and should arrive after 11am.

Am bringing along a power extension cord and 6-outlet power surge-protector as well.

While there are no strong wind gusts currently forecast for zipcode 94704, there are 6mph-to-15mph(max)  wind gusts predicted for the area; therefore, am also wearing a windbreaker.
