Last meeting went pretty good on Jitsi meeting.  So we will
do it again on this 4th Sunday.

The Url for the meeting is:

If you don't know Jitsi is an opensource videoconferencing software.
You connect to the meet server with your browser as it uses the web-rtc
feature.  Should work in any modern browser (Chrome, Firefox)

I just checked and it seems the dial in phone # and pin are the same as last time.

I'll connect to the room right about 11 and see if everything is OK.  But if the time comes
and for some strange reason there is a different group there, look for an email from me
to the list with an alternate room.

Connect however you want: with or without video or sound.  All are welcome.

Thomas:

I have been using Jetsi a lot and only had a problem one time — my correspondent had very poor WiFi — other than that, it has worked very well, including a 90 min interview with a professor from Tokyo University on fuel cell buses.

P.s.  Do any of you understand why Ubuntu 14:4 LTS has a problem w/Zoom 5 (AC Transit uses Zoom, have not been able to get them to use open source).

I don't know.

SFLUG used Zoom and I just used it in the browser.  So I guess Zoom can use webrtc.  So maybe you can
try to connect without using the client program.
