2007 Beneteau 373 Waste Tank Dimensions

I would really like to add a Maretron TLM100 tank level monitor (https://www.maretron.com/products/tlm100.php)  to my waste water tank but don't know if it will really fit. 

The tank currently has three holes at the top, in, out, and vent, and they are evenly spaced, so fitting the ultrasonic monitor may not be possible. The other question is the actual height of the tank dimensions. When I dropped a tape measure down the outside of the tank, it was close to the 40" maximum the maretron will read. I want to avoid removing more than the access panel unless I decide this process is happening, but could not be sure I was measuring the correct dimensions via the access panel.

In October I had access to the https://spareparts.beneteauusa.com/ site and could look at parts details as well as get an idea of what they should cost. This week when I attempt to access it I'm constantly redirected to the login page. If I hit the button for the forgotten password, it will properly send me an email to reset the password, so it remembers who I am, just won't let me in. Can someone with access forward the correct details to me?

I believe all of us are locked out of the parts system.  Individual users can't directly order.

I am trying to buy part Ward told me I have to register with a dealer to be able access to part site. I did it seems the dealer I contacted doesn't know or care what needs to be done. Being able to deal directly with Beneteau was one of the advantages of owning a Beneteau,  now the next boat maybe something else.

So this is policy, not just a broken website? That makes me sad. There is no longer a dealer in my immediate area, and dealers on the coast have repeatedly failed to return calls or respond to emails about parts requests.

The Beneteau parts is not available at the moment but they said it will be available by the dealers. 

You can find any Beneteau spare parts by submit an expert request at our platform BoatClick with qout or other spare part if available https://www.boatclick.co/signup

Buy the way I didn't find any west tank sounder at Beneteau for this tank or dimensions (only 83 L)

You are not alone, I am in Houston there is a dealer right here, Murry Yacht  sale, I have contacted them repeatedly they haven't been any help. I hope their management and/ or Beneteau monitoring this site.

While I am no longer a yacht owner I am still very interested in this site. 

I wonder if a well written letter to BENETEAU by the group might shed some light of the issue. It is abundantly clear most dealers have little interest in the parts business.  

Perhaps one of the dealers would like to have an arrangement with the group to supply everyone with both access to the web site and fair pricing. 

It could be a win win for all

Beneteau and Jeanneau, for that matter, seem to cycle between this position that we should work through dealers for parts and then give up after a while when it becomes clear that dealers have little interest in serving an owner with a 20 year old boat.

I think what’s really behind this is at the annual dealers meeting Beneteau complains that the dealers aren’t selling enough boats and the dealers shoot back that Beneteau is allowing owners to bypass the dealers - if only you forced owners to work through us we’d sell more boats. That whole line is BS and a cop out. 

When this same happened a few years ago at Jeanneau I called the head of Jeanneau America and gave several examples of how dealers failed to help me get parts. End result - I got special access to the parts website.

I think now it’s even easier - go to the Beneteau Facebook page and start providing examples of how dealers are not responding to parts requests and how you’d never buy a Beneteau again. Within a few weeks you’ll have access to the parts website again

If any of you knows how we can compose a letter and have everyone sign it and send it to Beneteau President I am in. My wife is a lawyer and she can right pretty effective letters.
