Propane locker - B 440

[Oceanis 440 NY]

Ahoy mates,

Hope your season is starting off well. I need to remove the molded propane locker from the aft lazerrete. Has anyone accomplished this feat without destroying the mold? It appears to be dropped in and secured with sealant, any advice is appreciated.

removed on a different model Beneteau years ago

had to use a piece of metal heated and bent then sharpened to work around the lip to cut away the sealant.  Took my time, did very little damage

but yes it was a PITA

Thanks Mark, did you also heat the fiberglass around the lip of the mold?
