Subject: Sign-on opportunity for letter in support of USDA Beltsville Bee Lab
Hi folks,
As many of you know, USDA has opened a public comment period on the proposal to relocate approximately 2,600 Washington-based positions to five regional hubs. These relocations would directly impact the USDA Beltsville Bee Research Laboratory. It is the opinion of many U.S. honey bee scientists and beekeeping industry leaders that relocation of the USDA Beltsville Bee Research Laboratory would likely result in immediate and long-term harm to the U.S. beekeeping industry.
