That sounds weird, can you try to call the following URLs
https://www.alphavantage.co/query?function=GLOBAL_QUOTE&symbol=IBM&apikey=demo
and
https://www.alphavantage.co/query?function=GLOBAL_QUOTE&symbol=AAPL&apikey=yourkey
maybe with curl?

one thing that is in the bean-price alphavantage importer is to
deal with rate limit of alphavantage, if there is an issue with
the request, it sleeps for 60 seconds and then tries again. Maybe
you hit that one.
