Here is a transaction from my beancount file

```
2022-08-22 * "Purchase THULE GROUP"
  Assets:Nordnet:2222:THULE     200.0 THULE @ 267.8 SEK
  Assets:Nordnet:1111:Cash   -53608.0 SEK
  Income:Nordnet:1111:Rounding           -0.20 SEK
  Expenses:Nordnet:Comissions        48.2 SEK
```
I want to be able to show status of all accounts, OR Nordnet accounts, OR any specific accounts.

Here is my problem
  • If I use the transaction as written above I can't filter on Nordnet or any specific Nordnet account in Fava.
  • If I use tags, since individual postings don't support tags, I can't filter to show only the cash account or the securities account.
What do you thing is a good solution to this?

Here are some ideas I've considered, note that I'm a beginner at all of this

  • Split the transaction into two, one for the cash account and one for the securities account, adding a clearing account. This way I guess I should be able to use account tags at the transaction level.
  • Stop using fava. Perhaps using bean-query would make it simple to create reports regardless of solution

It's not clear to me as what you're attempting. Perhaps if can expand on what you mean by "show status of," that'd help. An example of output you want would be even better.
